 The goal of the SOL:

1.     Form the character of Christ within each student.

2.    Raise up equipped leaders who can serve as Personal Pastors, cell leaders, and ministry overseers.

 How to Enroll:

Each student must have their name submitted by a cell pastor who recommends them. Cell pastors should submit names and collect the fees.

 Description

This class will be two hours each session. There will be a short break between the two hours.

Those that graduate the Freshman level will be invited to continue to the Sophomore Level and so on.   Each level is 10 weeks. The entire SOL program lasts 40 weeks.

Based upon their Cell Pastor’s recommendation and Presbyter's approval, SOL students will be encouraged to a cell towards the end of the SOL 40 week training. To graduate from SOL, you must complete the entire 40 weeks of training. Graduation from the SOL does not automatically mean you will or must lead a cell. (Cell leadership is based upon being released of "sent" by a parent cell leader.) However, the SOL is the prerequisite to all leadership opportunities at Central, and we teach and believe every member can be a maker of disciples.

 Accountability

The School of Leaders will be as much about impartation as information. For this reason, we will be fairly strict in attendance requirements. No more than 2 absences will be excused from any 10 week semester. (You must attend at least 8 out of every 10 weeks.)  Any missed classes must still have completed homework assignments.

Students will be required to be punctual. 3 times tardy will equal one absence.

There will be specific weekly assignments.  Students will be asked to complete specific, extensive Bible reading assignments.  They will be required to keep a journal, and share from it. Additional required reading will be given from time to time.

Quizzes and tests will periodically be given.

Weekly practical assignments will be given that will involve sharing, writing, witnessing, and expressing your faith.

Each student will be required to report to his/her cell pastor on a weekly basis regarding progress in the SOL.  A cell pastor must certify completion of homework assignments, journal keeping, and approve each advancement to the next semester.
