Step 3
Encounter Retreat This event lasts from Friday Evening until Sunday Morning. A strong emphasis is placed on repentance, the finished work of the cross, forgiveness, inner healing, breaking curses and bondage, and the weekend ends with receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The retreat is designed to control the spiritual atmosphere and set the believer upon a strong foundation. The Encounter Retreat is a dramatic experience, especially for new believers. While the dramatic breakthroughs, changed lives, and power of God experienced cause some to view the Encounter as the heart of our vision, it is really best viewed as just one of the steps in our Road to Maturity. It’s lasting fruit happens when ALL the steps are followed. |
